Pros
Lots of professional development and consulting as it is a large district. Many resources available for support including ISTs, behavioral specialists, SDI coaches to problem solve with.
Cons
Caseload/burnout is high. Administrative decisions/policies impact workload tremendously.. We've received many small raises or bonuses district wide but the school psych pay scale should be adjusted to reflect the amount of work we are doing and our level of education. Additional pay provided as caseload increases due to vacancies.
