      The district is up to speed in current learning research at the elementary level. They provide a great deal of training for teachers.

      Cons

      Changes are often made rapidly which requires teachers working unpaid overtime to keep up with new requirements. Not enough support exists for students with extremely challenging behaviors.

      Pros

      You get a wide variety of schools to work with.

      Cons

      South Fulton and Alpharetta are really far away from the city center, and there can be a lot of favoritism in those areas. Paraprofessional pay is very low, and that can sometimes be the only thing that is available on Aesop. You may barely have a break to take your lunch - 30 mins or so.
