      Pros

      I decided to try public school after 25 years of University professorships. The public school job was rewarding in many way; however, the better you perform, the more that is assigned to you. Money was good because I have a doctorate and over 25 years teaching experience.

      Cons

      The government involved in Education is overwhelming.

      Pros

      You get a wide variety of schools to work with.

      Cons

      South Fulton and Alpharetta are really far away from the city center, and there can be a lot of favoritism in those areas. Paraprofessional pay is very low, and that can sometimes be the only thing that is available on Aesop. You may barely have a break to take your lunch - 30 mins or so.
