If you are looking for a stable job with benefits, teaching is definitely one route to take. You get to build relationships with kids and work with like minded adults for the majority of the time.
Cons
Student behaviors have become out of control with no real consequences. Students run their parents, parents run the administration, administration runs the teachers, therefore the students run the teachers. Your pay increase from year to year is so minor, it is actually an insult. The amount of emotional and physical stress we are put under to equate to minimum appreciation is ridiculous.
