Pros

Very rarely receive free samples. Some travel if your in the right click.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Leaders micro manage Like crazy and have no trust in employees. Executives treat other employees like they are dumb. There is no mentorship. You will hit your sales goal but an executive will take your product or the warehouse will fail to ship out by quarter end. Makes it easy for Funko to not pay your commission. Pay structure was constantly changing to benefit Funko. Brian Is not a CEO you look up to, constantly misspeaking on important matters like RSUs and financials. No one makes money except for the top 6 people. They would rather hire someone with no experience for nothing then pay a little to get quality people and it shows! Customers are constantly unhappy with service and Funko just doesn’t care because they know the demand will keep there customers buying. For now

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
