Pros

Hands down, best organization and team I've ever been part of! High energy vibe in a fast-paced organization with lots of potential to make an impact. Funko is not perfect; it is in that awkward, gawky stage of a company that has grown very quickly and is now in that process of being more purposeful and strategic with a focus on people, products and scale. This give me energy but understand it isn't for everyone. If you are a builder like me and you like to do hard things, you will do well at Funko. I come to work every day energized and empowered to make a positive difference at this organization. After all, we are in the business of bringing fun and joy into people's lives and it's an awesome feeling to see the fruits of your labor everywhere!

Cons

We move quickly, which I like, but sometimes too quickly without a fully developed plan which can actually slow things down on the backend.

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
