Pros

- Some of the most hardworking and talented people I've ever worked with. The people are what has kept me here - Ability to forge your own path and work on a lot of different things - Benefits are great. Wish there were options to buy stock, but otherwise very good

Cons

- Leadership needs to lead. There isn't visibility into the topline strategy of the company so prioritization becomes very hard and results in EVERYTHING being a priority, regardless of the ROI - Acquisitions and large initiatives are done quickly and dropped like bombs with little time to prepare for the work involved to execute. This impacts the workload and creates burnout - "Bad actors" or problematic employees are rarely held accountable. Managers, HR, and leadership would rather ignore it than do something about it - High performers are given more work and expected to carry the load of low performers

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
