Pros

*Appreciated for my uniqueness, personality, and individuality *My ideas and perspective are sought out, respected and appreciated *I get to build a foundation of practice and process that will set us up for growth and scalability *I have had new program proposals approved far more quickly than I anticipated - the executive team is open to and supportive of change *The HR team offers flexibility - I feel supported when I need to shift my schedule for personal reasons. *Fantastic culture - the people are fun and embrace quirkiness!

Cons

*Things can move really fast, so you need to be good at re-prioritizing and communicating with stakeholders. Not everyone thrives in this environment - but I love it. *There was some short-tenure on the team before I arrived, so process and documentation isn't consistent. However, if you like to build - this is a great opportunity.

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
