They'll trick with the name, but they're just as bad as Amazon. - Warehouse Associate Funko Employee Review

Pros

The only pro to working for funko is working outside of the United States, or in the Washington headquarters. If you're in Arizona, know that Funko will not go above and beyond the bare bones minimum to make you safe, respected, while working for them.

Cons

You will be seen as an easily replaceable cog in a machine that is Funko. They will not go above the bare minimum to ensure your safety at work. They will not go above to make you feel like a valued employee. You will not be trained properly and still be expected to do tasks, and will be reprimanded if it is incorrect. You are assumed to be a possible thief when entering their building, there is no clear communication between shifts, the lack of actual safety training and oversight is terrifying. This con list can go on for a while. Literally take this job only if you need to know what a warehouse shouldn't operate like.

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
