Pros

The people are the one and only reason to work for this company. And by the people, I mean the little guys.

Cons

The warehouse folks that make Funko their money are rarely considered by upper management. Except for in the random pizza party, pat on the back sort of way. They allow workers to be abused, used for others gain, hire unfit people and put them in positions they aren't qualified for. HR is a joke, absolute garbage. Protect abusers and manipulators and promote a lot of them while they let go of the good people. On top of that, there are no legitimate SOPS in place. The whole warehouse is sloppily run. No customer care is shown, product over people always. Do not recommend. Unless you want daily stress and anxiety, an overflowing plate of nonsense. Oh, also, the responsibility of training under qualified people how to do your job just to have them turn around and breath down your neck. All of this with no opportunity for a raise or a promotion of any kind (unless you're in with the big guys) Funko isn't much fun at all.

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
