Funko Fast - Be prepared to sprint from the moment you start Day 1. Minimal to no documentation for training and you just have to learn things they hard way… by asking X person who is the only one who knows X process.
Leadership is extremely out of touch but there is clearly a large shift happening of ushering out old and bringing in new. There is little to no leadership training for people managers and it really shows. Morale is openly low, often, and surveys openly communicate the issue but it appears to be ignored.
Little to no planning or roadmapping to help organize the chaos despite people trying to internally. It’s almost as if they want to keep it chaotic just because it’s “Funko”. You may be working on 5 priorities at once and get 2 on fire issues where you have to drop everything at once. The GIF PIVOT from Friends was used often as well as the term “trauma bonding” if that helps gauge the level of chaos daily/weekly.
