Futures Has Done it Again! - Anonymous employee Futurex Employee Review

I've heard this company being described and "Being in the driver's seat of a Ferrari." Sadly that quote was just a sound bite of the full description which is "Being in the driver's seat of a Ferrari you have no control over that's heading full speed into a brick wall." The utter lack of management skill is apparent as soon as you get hired. People unqualified to lead others, or even be in charge of a department they have no experience in, fill the high ranks of the company. If you're not one of the CEO's favorites don't expect to move up in the ranks. I saw people get fired because they didn't hold the CEO in God like status (yes that's a capital G). I've also seen someone get fired because a potential hire was threatening to press charges for stalking after an employee stole her resume and began to message her on social media. This person was then hired back at the sister company Virtucrypt and the incident swept under the rug. Why am I writing this review today? Because the company just fired about half of the employees because they couldn't afford to pay them. This was due to their next generation of product failing to release. I'm curious if the CEO decided to reduce his multi-million dollar salary before firing the employees that made an average of 50k a year. But at least the company is still debt free right? While these jobs are salary you'll be expected to work 60+ hours a week, but you're required to be there 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 30 minutes late? You'll have to deduct that from your vacation. Need to visit a doctor? Vacation. They even went as far as to not give any days off for Christmas and New Years this year because they both fall on weekends. My advice to those seeking employment in this company? Don't. Plain and simple. It might seem like a good opportunity at first, but once you see the rotten core you'll wish you had taken a position at another company.
