Pros
Exposure to the whole plant process. Don't really need to be experience to make an impact, improvement opportunities are everywhere for suggestion.
Cons
No on-boarding or training in place. Little room for career advancement unless you speak Chinese. Unless you speak Chinese you will not know what is going on in management until last minute when they translate for you. You will most likely but placed on the line working as an operator when they are short handed, while still being expected to complete your office tasks. Poorly defined job title requirements so you will most likely be doing 2 other people's jobs on top of yours. Management makes quick decisions based on the feelings of those in authority rather than investigating root cause. Many in management positions are not truly qualified for their role's. Top down management style, very little collaboration as people are scared of the others above them in management. Management is not opposed to lying to the customer.
