Pros

Pay and benefits were very good. The company was growing and developing new products within the roofing line as well as accessory items and vendor items. This is the best environment for someone who really likes to sell, since you are constantly being given new items to talk about and find markets for.

Cons

Within management the inside politics were brutal. The pay differential between Field Sales Mgr and Territory Manager did not justify the pressure. In my opinion, the Territory Manager is the best position in the company. As a "Manager" there was no formal training given or mentoring within the organization. It was more or less sink or swim.

Pros

Great company with supportive and talented people, an excellent work/life balance, and a positive culture. I truly enjoyed my time there and will miss it, I really loved working at this company.

Cons

Some processes and team structures could benefit from further modernization, particularly in expanding Agile adoption compared to leading IT organizations.

Cafeteria food is decent and the building is nice

Cons

This place has really gone in the gutter over the years, hard to see how it will turn around. If you’re thinking about joining, the industry is Good but I’d stay far far away from GAF
