Pros

- Interesting research - Nice community of research associates

Cons

- Very poor management. Unwilling to accept any feedback regarding management styles. Most directors within the group are scientists that focus more on their individual research rather than leading a team. Scientists also struggle to give research associates any credit for their work, and oftentimes take the credit themselves. - Employees are discouraged from going to HR regarding concerns about management, told that they are required to tell their manager if they go to HR, and retaliated against when they do so. - Research disregards hiring a good cultural fits for groups and has minimal interest in creating a strong team dynamic amongst the group.

Pros

Gallo has extremely talented people and incredible products. I’ve found real opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact.

Cons

Fast pace at times, with occasional shifting priorities. Very few downsides overall.

Pros

For the area, this is one of the best places to work living in the Central Valley.

Cons

Priorities aren’t aligned across the business units. There’s a real lack of what it means to work at Gallo these days. Each group is out for themselves.
