The office settings are “open” - which loosely translates to loud and disruptive. For me, this has become frustrating and counter productive. You will spend a lot of time at work - they should work to make it more comfortable. Most of the people who have to take a lot of calls end up spending their day pacing the parking lot on the phone to try to minimize disruption and get a small bit of privacy.
There is a huge push to get people back into office and no talk of the evolution of the classic 9-5 (or more likely 8-6) work schedule. It’s a shame, because most people work above and beyond on a daily basis - adding some flexibility to the mix seems like an easy step to improve employee lives.
If you have a winery back ground, you might find that simple tasks take 3 or 4 additional steps to execute. The inefficiency might wear on you.
