1. Work life balance: Due to the top down culture and the overwhelming amount of responsibility’s on some teams, there is a detrimental impact on work-life balance. Executive leadership is not effective in properly balancing workload/requests which then has an impact on the lower levels of the company.
2. Pay: At a time where there are remote opportunities and more and more companies are taking a hybrid approach, Gallo has to compete with companies from all over, yet still offer central valley pay equivalent and have not kept up with that of competition.
3. Diversity: Gallo is diverse at the lower levels. However, the higher up in the ladder you go, the less diverse it gets. Diversity at the top does not appear to reflect that of the bottom, or that of the geographical area in which Gallo operates.
4. Development: Employee development is not spread equally. A portion of the employees seem to be left behind, the company does not do a good job at helping them to understand where their shortcomings might be and making an effort to aid them in improvement.
