Working on the finance team at Gallo is an absolute blast! The alcohol industry is as fun as it sounds—think dynamic projects, vibrant team energy, and the thrill of contributing to brands you see on shelves everywhere, from Barefoot to High Noon. The Finance University program that has been developed is a great add and really has changed the culture. The ability to do rotations is unique and provides a chance to go through Corporate Strategy, Business Unit Finance, Operations Finance, Sales Finance, Revenue Management, and Wine & Grape Supply. The hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to diverse financial operations are incredible for career growth. Plus, the people are fantastic—collaborative, supportive, and passionate about what they do.
Cons
The fast-paced environment can mean long hours, especially during peak seasons. Some processes could be streamlined, but it’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise great experience.
