Pros

Employee ownership and profit sharing

Cons

The leadership in the HR department is both toxic and incompetent. Family members are hired and promoted at GBS even when they are completely unqualified which causes stress on other employees who have to pick up the pieces. Claims they offer a flexible work schedule, however, they offer very minimal flexibility and no ability to work from home even a few days a week. Some of the management in Malvern is borderline mentally abusive and highly disrespectful, especially to women. Don't bother expressing your concerns to anyone because they will be ignored. On top of all of this the pay is disrespectfully low. They may offer "career advancement" but you will not see a proper increase in pay with promotions.

We have come across your review concerning our HR department's leadership, and we greatly appreciate your feedback. We take allegations like these very seriously because we value creating a positive and supportive work environment for all of our employees. We were saddened to hear that you feel our HR department is toxic and incompetent. However, we would like to assure you that we have investigated your claims thoroughly and found them to be unfounded. Our HR department is staffed by highly experienced professionals who are passionate about their work and committed to fostering a healthy workplace culture. Regarding your concern about family members being hired and promoted without proper qualifications, we adhere to strict ethical guidelines and equal employment opportunities. Every prospective employee, regardless of relation, must go through a rigorous selection process, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals are chosen. Promotions are similarly based on capabilities, experience, and demonstrated skills. We understand that perceived favoritism or preferential treatment can be stressful for other team members. Employees who feel they are shouldering an unfair burden, we encourage them to discuss their concerns with their manager or HR representative. By providing open channels of communication, we aim to address any issues and rebalance workloads. GBS has many initiatives in place to support our employees' growth. We offer various training programs, mentorship opportunities, and continuous learning resources to help our team members develop their skills and thrive in their careers. Regarding our flexible work schedule, we understand that it may not meet everyone's needs. We continually review and assess our policies to find ways to improve and provide a better work-life balance for our employees. We are deeply concerned about your claims regarding abusive and disrespectful management, especially towards women. This behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against our values. We have strict policies in place to prevent and address any form of harassment or discrimination. Employees are encouraged to report any incidents to our HR department so that they can be properly addressed and appropriate actions can be taken. We would like to assure you that we have investigated your claims thoroughly and found them to be unfounded. Regarding pay, we regularly review our compensation structure to ensure that it is competitive within the industry. We understand the importance of fair compensation and will continue to strive to align it with industry standards. We value each and every employee at GBS and want to create a harmonious work place that includes following our ICARE values.
