Pros
GE's technology with customers is tremendous. A better challenge can't be found elsewhere.
Cons
GE leadership today is subpar and lacks foresight. Social policies, managing up, and failure to speak openly has left the working organizations fending for themselves. Executives are more interested in their own careers than the overall health and culture of the organization. Pay and Benefits is subpar to local opportunities and emphasis is on new engineers leaving seasoned engineers fending for themselves (i.e. you have a shelf life at GE of 10 years before you are considered no longer a value)
