Pros
Benefits were attractive compared to that offered by other employers. Although GE benefits have since been down-graded. A fair amount of stability & security for staff that were delivering good results. Reimbursement of tuition & education costs. An enjoyable work culture & some terrific co-workers
Cons
You need to start at a good salary because one you are there it's 2% or 1% a year or less. Highly bureaucratic company procedures. Meetings, web training & corporate communications can be time-consuming. Change often takes place in all the wrong places.
