It is a gigantic solid company which is interested in both, satisfied clients and satisfying employees. GE will try for you to be healty and happy inside and outside the office. I offers varios programs to the employees to mantain a good helth, offers some basical medication to all employees to prevent contagious viruses to affect the work of everyone. Inside GE teams are very supportive with each others. As in every company, you are supposed to do your work and if you don´t do that someone will be afected besides you or you can even affect much more preople.

Your advance in your professional life will be slow, as it would be in any average company. Because GE is not fireing people avery day, you will take a while to go up in the herarchy and get more responsibilities and increase your salary. If you are looking for a little above average job in a solid company your will be fine in here. This way you could raise or mantain a family with a good level of confidence that your job is going good.
