In my experience GE is so large that it really isn't 1 company. I experience my field service district as if I work for a $15M business, not a $100MM.
I have a great manager who took over from a very long term great manager. As a result our district has high morale and excellent production.
Cons
We will only be with GE another month or so as our division has been sold to raise cash to deal with corporate's giant mess. Apparently manufacturing, selling and servicing large electrical equipment is not part of GE's "core business". They are a software company in case you haven't heard. (Thomas Edison facepalm)

Thanks for sharing and glad to hear you have a series of great managers. Those are the people leaders we hope to have everywhere throughout the company!
