Pros

Decent pay Decent benefits Good work environment (not noisy, climate controlled, takes safety seriously)

Cons

WAY too many meetings/too much time spent on meetings. Seriously, most of us know our jobs really well. A quick 5-10 minute meeting in the morning is understandable. But two 15-20 minute meetings at shift start and shift end AND a State-of-the-unionesque all hands meeting on thursdays? Plus random extended meetings during the week? And the meetings are always about how we're not meeting our production quota? Maybe not spending 3 hours a week in meetings would help. WAY overzealous HR. Do not trust them. They smile in your face and pretend to be your best friend, but they will kick you to the curb in a heartbeat. Very SJW and PC. If anyone hears you make a non PC joke or something (which tends to happen in a factory!), you will get fired mercilessly with no chance to correct your behavior. Also, CONSTANT material problems. They're trying to be like toyota and do "Just in time" and "lean manufacturing". Look, that only works when you have a steady and constant supply of parts. When you are running almost every unit through the line without all the parts needed and then setting the units aside in a graveyard, you need to stop complaining that we aren't putting out enough units and then putting us on mandatory overtime.
