A nearly impenetrable labrynth of roadblocks and roadblockers to get anything done Career progression (engineering) is really a bad joke Engineers are second guessed and assumed to be "trying to pull a fast one" by most in the company - I think the security crew gets more respect Medical benefits are no longer - while they are "provided", they suck so bad that you can do nearly as well purchasing your own private insurance like you would if say, you had your own business People who alledgedly lead projects (run spread sheets and do little else) get the accolades while those doing the work are ignored Inventing and innovating is easy, anyone can do it....that's my perception of what GE thinks GE equates a BS in any engineering discipline to HS diploma + 4 years relavant work experience, just read some of their job postings; I knew partial and ordinary diff eqs were a waste of time... Low raises (< cost of living on average) Antiquated rating system which fosters animosity GE ratings based on perception instead of fact Rating system breeds indifference; when the difference between top rating is a 2.7% raise v 2.3% for average rating, who cares anyway ---
