Pros

pays a good wage for placement, has good benefits

Cons

unsafe working conditions I was given tools which could have caused an accident until another employee pointed it out. The person who gave the tools for setup originally was a supposed expert, which could have led to me getting injured due to unsafe electrical work. poor quality manufacturing setup, which is improperly designed, causing strain due to long-term use. lack of chairs in the manufacturing area, resulting in tasks designed to be done sitting down being done standing, causing strain as there had been an increase in employees without management buying more chairs.

Pros

GE Vernova has great company culture... obviously it differs team by team but in my experience most people are really nice and laid back. Most teams are also supportive of good worklife balance (aka nobody is working more than 40 hours per week, and a lot of teams are remote part time).

Cons

Like every big company, there is some disorganization (ESPECIALLY with onboarding stuff).

Pros

Exposure to functions and senior leadership within GEV. PMLPs have the ability to take on as much responsibility as they can handle *IF they push for it.

Cons

Unstructured. PMLPs are free labor and often times pull in directions that may not be the best for their future but for the success of the company.
