Pros

Good benefits and flexible work hours.

Cons

Lack of career path for engineers in manufacturing trying to stay technical. If you don't want to be in management, there isn't much room to grow. Like most big companies, you will eventually be treated like a number and not valued as a person.

Thank you for your review. Expertise, particularly in our technical functions, is highly valued at GE, given the complexity of our products. We believe that growth more frequently happens in-role than in the form of changing roles, which is supported by our belief that employees should stay in role at least two years before changing roles. We wish you the best in your future and hope your new role externally provides you with the growth you are looking for at this point in time.

Pros

Exposure to functions and senior leadership within GEV. PMLPs have the ability to take on as much responsibility as they can handle *IF they push for it.

Cons

Unstructured. PMLPs are free labor and often times pull in directions that may not be the best for their future but for the success of the company.
