Small piece of GE...Future uncertain - H/W Engineer GE Vernova Employee Review

Limited opportunity for career growth. Also limited opportunities for mentorship. There are too many isolated sites as a result of aquisitions and there is very little communication between the sites. Furthermore, management is very entrenched and presents few opportunities for career development. I think there needs to be an infusion of new ideas and a more clearly defined direction to target bigger more lucrative markets. Currently there seems to be very little forsight and product planning needed to steer the company towards the right markets. Also GE automation contributes about 1% to GE's bottom line and is very vulnerable to shuffling or company re-org.
