GEICO is not looking for independent, hard-working employees. They are looking for Yes-men who won't ask too many questions. Employees in the various levels of Claims openly talk about the type of anti-anxiety medications they prefer. The paycheck is nice, but GEICO will squeeze absolutely everything they can out of you and look the other way once the work-life balance becomes overwhelming. The pay is not competitive and you will be chained to a desk.
