Pros

Base pay, health benefits are okay

Cons

In reference to base pay above being a "pro" to this job, I want to state that I would include commission but management has the ability to route certain calls to certain people. This means that "John Doe" may achieve bonus several times in a row and then perform dismally the rest of their time employed there. Calls are routed based on if the customer is ready to buy a policy or not and the top performers get the majority of those "ready-to-buy" calls which makes the playing field of sales there extremely confusing, unfair and borderline illegal in my opinion. Each month, only 1%-2% of the sales floor will achieve bonus and even then their payout is based on if the customer retained the policy because if they don't keep it for at least 90 days, you don't get anything for the sale, hence why all sales bonus payouts are for sales made from 3 months prior. I also witnessed several instances of retaliation where employees would complain to upper management and/or HR about being honestly and truly mistreated by one of the roughly 3-10 different supervisors over them, and they were terminated for extremely questionable reasons directly after for mundane issues that other employees might not even receive a stern warning about. And to address what I wrote about having many different supervisors over you, I'm dead serious; it's like working at the business in the movie, "Office Space". You have several people you report to and they all tell you different answers to questions you have and if you pick the wrong answer then it's your fault and you're punished accordingly, it's not the manager's fault for telling you, a new employee, incorrect information. You have one direct report who's supposed to be your only supervisor but it doesn't end up that way, believe me. I sat outside in my car on break one time and my direct supervisor was unknowingly standing right next to my car speaking to their manager about me in a less than professional manner and when I asked them to save the conversation for another time or move because it was understandably making it an awkward situation and instead of doing either of these things, I was scolded for "eavesdropping" and threatened with a write up if it happened again.....I could go on and on but I think you get my feelings about this place.

Pros

Competitive health benefits, 401k matching, genuine, people-focused leadership, career mobility, a renewed focus on driving culture across the company.

Cons

Although it’s not a negative for me if you are not used to receiving regular feedback, good and bad, then you may struggle early on with the culture.

Cons

There are still some areas where the company appears to be rebuilding trust and confidence Change is noticeable and appreciated, but some improvements are still in progress Feedback has clearly helped shape recent changes, and it will be good to see that progress continue
