Pros
My peers are mostly excellent people.
Cons
Corporate decisions are poor and out of touch. Salary is not competitive for most positions in the company. Benefits lag grossly behind the industry averages. "Quarterly earnings mindset" "What can you do for me today?" no purposeful thought or concerns for the future of employees nor customers. Officers have trouble correlating decisions and actions to impact beyond dollars and cents. Terrible work/life balance, the company prefers associates sacrifice as much of their lives as possible in order to meet quotas/metrics. Goals for most positions (core metrics) often do not create healthy behaviors nor interactions between departments as well as external customers. Short-sighted business-decisions. Associates constantly stepping on egg-shells due to constant threat of retaliation by leadership. Voice of the Associate does not matter to the senior officers. Associate opinion surveys are not properly considered by senior management and no meaningful goals are created nor executed from feedback. Unrealistic standards and sub-standard working conditions are found for the majority of associates in the majority of departments. Long-term stability and growth is constantly being undercut by shortcuts made in the present. Salaries are well beneath industry averages and raises are disrespectfully low. Bare-bones benefits. Unstable systems and applications that cause conflict for customer facing associates. The list goes on and on.
