      - good pay - excellent learning opportunities in insurance and customer service - great mentorship opportunities - plenty of extra activities to be involved in for inclusion, volunteer, and leadership - great group of people to work with - excellent training

      Cons

      - over worked - very difficult to set boundaries and have them respected - hard to take vacation time with ever growing work expectations

      Pros

      Decent pay and remote work.

      Cons

      Poor management at all levels, and high turnover in the IT department. Profit sharing was initially offered when I started in 2013 but disappeared after covid. Management laid off most of the IT staff that had the technical and insurance knowledge in favor of bringing in new staff to transition GEICO into a tech company. Not sure what the status of the IT department is in 2026.
