Pros
Decent hourly pay, though not especially competitive Nice coworkers, depending on your department Paid training with covered exam fees- the biggest takeaway
Cons
Limited bathroom access (trainer told me GEICO is exempt from OSHA and suggested I buy a wireless headset so I can take calls while using the bathroom), misleading and manipulative promises setting false expectations (bonuses that nobody received, profit sharing that was promised but then revoked, schedule changes that were promised but then revoked, pay increases that never happened, etc), unreasonable and unfair workload expectations (within the same pay grade, some employees expected to take 1 call every 1-3 hours while others take nonstop calls back-to-back without additional compensation), uncomfortable facilities (unreasonable temperature variance day-to-day resulting in constant discomfort), negative work environment (coaches shouting at reps, physically grabbing and shaking employees by shoulders, obvious gaslighting behaviors), benefits that can't be used (employees were promised 3 free mental health counseling sessions per calendar year, but I can attest that these sessions were never available and I was told they would not be available for at least several more months), no exit interview- I was told I couldn't say goodbye to my team after I resigned, never spoke with management, and was told by HR that I could take a virtual exit interview online, which I never received.
