Pros
Decent work-life balance for IT personnel (rare nights/weekend work). Pay has improved to attract and retain talent but still not near the top. You trade lower pay for the life balance. Still allowing WFH although pushing for some return to office. Historically they don't have the best tech practices, but they're actively trying to improve them via key external hires. There are opportunities if you're willing to work through the issues and make improvements.
Cons
Stable and growing throughout most of the 2000's and 2010's; however, the company has lost market share and profitability since 2021 and has not yet regained its footing. Layoffs have hit all departments and management levels. Expect uncertainty, turbulence, and performance pressures if you're going to join.
