Pros

Good pay, give you state training to get license in the state (which you can use somewhere else).

Cons

You have to meet metric goals in order to qualify to work from home. If you don't meet customer satisfaction surveys managers are constantly on your case about it and do eventually write you up for it. It's a very competitive dog eat dog work place as you're competing against fellow coworkers for the best metrics to possibly move up. If you value yourself don't work here as customers will be very hostile even though you're just doing your job.

Pros

Decent pay and remote work.

Cons

Poor management at all levels, and high turnover in the IT department. Profit sharing was initially offered when I started in 2013 but disappeared after covid. Management laid off most of the IT staff that had the technical and insurance knowledge in favor of bringing in new staff to transition GEICO into a tech company. Not sure what the status of the IT department is in 2026.
