Pros
-Hyrbid work (if you live in a certain region) -PTO/Sick/Vacation -Bi-weekly paycheck
Cons
-Discontinued WFH -Discontinued Profit Sharing - Outrageous Metrics and Goals -Pathetic Raises -Unsustainable Workload -Unclear and miscommunicated claims handling guidelines -Zero tolerance for anything less than perfection -Toxic, Abusive, lacking any compassion work environment -Frequent threats of being fired for performance, compliance, and code of conduct when it is nearly impossible to keep up with the changes made behind closed doors. -Shady and borderline illegal practices for getting employees fired -Claims Audits every month that rarely lean in favor of the claims handler -Constant fear for job security with layoffs, department restructuring and added work -A culture of "Do or Die" -worse health insurance benefits -Experiencing the textbook definition of Gaslighting daily -Being mentally and emotionally beaten like a broken farm animal while being convinced your shortcomings are all on your shoulders. -Taking unfair, and unjust downgrades for the mistakes of others just because YOU didn't anticipate they would make the mistake -Supervisors treat employees like subhuman entities providing zero confidence and trust. - Heavy and overbearing Micromanagement -High turnover -world-class training reduced to a crash course -tenured employees are frequently targeted to be fired in favor of hiring new younger replacements internally (I can't imagine why this would happen) -A new ranking system where employees are pinned against each other for raises and job security -PTO is impossible to use because coming back from vacation is a guaranteed month of being ranked below peers. (especially for closures) - Minimal opportunity to advance your career It's genuinely heart-wrenching to experience the downfall of what was a decent company spiral into ungodly madness. We have no idea what the future holds for this company. Nevertheless, these changes are intentional and premeditated to shed payroll. If I were a betting person I would look out for news regarding merges or AI.
