Pros
IT is still currently fully remote
Cons
The company has been in chaos since 2022. Layoff after layoff, some announced, others not. The appraisal metrics were adjusted to give virtually every employee a 3/5 and used as justification to not give out raises. Systems admins have to cross-train to be developers, developers have to become systems admins, although at the rate things are going they might just lay off all system admin roles. Some substantiated rumors are flying about an extremely aggressive plan to rank developers quarterly (Not sure how that's going to happen when everyone gets a 3) and put the bottom 10% on a 45-day 'improve or terminate' plan. The only reliable source of news is the employee subreddit. IT employees are being hired remotely with no written guarantee of being able to stay remote.
