Pros

Decent pay until recent changes.

Cons

The new merit raise structure will leave a lot of adjusters without a raise due to the very toxic environment they have whereas adjusters compete against eachout on a countrywide level. Every state is different. Understaffing has been a huge issue for over a year now. The workload is insane. Adjusters are heavily graded on files for things that are opinionated and will not effect the outcome of the claim. Great adjusters leave the company to work elsewhere due to these issues and the higher-ups are dragging their feet when it comes to hiring. There has been no opportunity for promotion or lateral movement in my department (because of low staffing)

Pros

GEICO has provided extensive opportunities for myself and my family. All of my children have been born while I have been employed at GEICO. We have experienced highs and lows in our personal life over the last 10 years and GEICO has supported us through all of it.

Cons

GEICO is continuing to strengthen its brand and associate experience. They continue to will through opportunities to deliver a remarkable experience for associates and customers.
