Pros
The pay and differential pay working evenings and weekends.
Cons
I've worked claims where our insureds were clearly at fault for the accident and the police report shows they were given a citation for causing the accident. Yet, when I tried to set liability for at-fault, I was told that we still need to get a recorded statement from our insured as to what happen at the scene of the accident even though the police report shows that our insured was at fault. Most customers will lie just so they won't have their premiums go up and Geico will take their word over the police report. During my 9 months working for them, I've learned that Geico will protect their customers' (lies) just to avoid paying out for the other party's damages when it was clearly our driver's fault. I could not (in good faith) continue to work for them.
