Pros

International environment and big office

Cons

I am writing this comment based on my girlfriend's experience, who is Thai and culturally reluctant to complain to superiors. Her manager was using an authoritative management style, giving orders, constantly criticising the results, and talking a lot behind people's back. She was pressured to work overtime on a daily basis, including weekends. Her holiday requests were repeatedly rejected, and then lost at the end of the year. On multiple occasions she was pressured to go to the office when she was seriously sick, even though she offered to complete her work from home. She requested 5 days (4 months in advance) for a vacation abroad, and was offered to take 2 days instead. No actual reason or explanation. She quit, her manager asked her to work until the last day, promising that the remaining holidays would be paid. They were not. Double standards, the same manager was taking long holidays, and worked remotely on a regular basis. They also "hired" a relative of somebody in the head office to join the team, with no relevant work experience (violation of the Thai labour laws). Their salary was way over the local standards, and they were allowed to work remotely from Pattaya, while the rest of the staff had strict onsite work policy.

Pros

You will meet some incredible people here to personally network with.

Cons

Leadership is very of of touch , no real sense of direction comes from this Company, Training is mainly about motivated you to exhaust yourself to calling any and everyone in the country who " Look to have freight coming in". No real learning as far how to get a solid footing into the business. Best thing they thought they was teaching was how to follow trends when looking for freights but any salesperson does that with whatever field they are in so I learned nothing but how to seek out a company who is actually going to put you in a position to succeed so you can be a positive stamp on the company.
