Pros
Employees can get WFH easily. Generally, less work pressure. Flexible work hours.
Cons
Very low appraisal rate. Promotions are rare. No health services or free annual health check-ups are offered. Management don't know how to manage work & project management. Extreme cost-cutting. No recognition for work. They don't care about employee well-being; they just want the work to be done before the deadline. The office doesn't have much entertainment or relaxation options. The food is not free & is of bad quality. No team outings. Low-quality work. No leave encashment. Even laptops provided to us have many problems that too on a frequent basis. Dealing with other teams is hectic, when you need their help, they don't respond. We have to work both as a developer & tester. They can't build complex solutions hence there is no learning for developers. No code reviews. No testing team. Please don't specify false requirements in the job description. actual work quality is nowhere compared to what they mention in JD. While hiring, make tech stack & work clear. No clear hierarchy in team.
