Pros

you can do well here if you are a backstabbing credit stealer

Cons

bad bosses treat people like disposable commodities. bad HR doesn't care about employee welfare and explains away high turnover under bad bosses as effect of good job market. toxic culture . scapegoating blame shifting is how people climb no psychological or emotional safety. workplace bullying is normal not exception poor EQ including senior HR poor people management skills boss use feedback as weapon to put down others you better not think or say anything boss dont like respect only shown to boss not people doing actual work boss say jump you can only ask how high not why we jumping off cliff no managerial courage to question bad ideas from bosses bosses dont know actual work ideas implemented based on rank and politics not merit people only concerned with own careers not whats right for company fake glassdoor ratings from PR interns No work life balance. No respect for people's personal time or contributions. Emails and meetings around the clock and people are expected to do actual work in own personal time. you won't be seen as a contributor unless you send emails at midnight and shoot down ideas your boss doesn't like. good workers won't be promoted, only back-stabbers and credit-stealers are.

Pros

Good vision, good talent (under bad management), market rate compensation

Cons

Incompetent Leadership: Constant, chaotic reorganizations driven by new senior leads looking for short-term wins rather than sustainable engineering. Tone-Deaf Management: Townhalls are heavily curated to ignore genuine feedback regarding burnout and management debt. The "Silent Layoff" Strategy: Mass PIPs and aggressive performance grading are being used to quietly trim headcount, destroying team morale. Inefficient Ecosystem: Paralyzing security and risk processes block execution at every turn, while engineering teams are expected to run at 200%+ capacity. Inefficient HR: A heavy layer of senior HR personnel who offer zero practical guidance, zero empathy, and zero worker protection.
