Pros

The company has matured very much in the past year. We are gaining the trust of our business partners and other internal teams. We have are more than a year into the mentorship and Diversity & Inclusion efforts. This company needs it! Location is opposite way of traffic in Arlington but Las Colinas location is surrounded by grid lock.

Cons

Lack of follow through to resolve issues and poor to zero communication of with managers. The officers or "HIGHER UPS" as the person calls theme selves, turn a blind eye to the rants and rages from the VP. Inconsistent expectations, none communicated correctly twice, coupled with the 1hr beat downs full of rage where several men from the same race not All from our dept brings you and other officers, to a meeting to answer the dumbest questions about an old broken solution to work as a global reusable product but cannot tell any of us what their team is responsible for or what their procedures are No boat rockers allowed. Soldiers who do the bare min. Process even a month later. Indian men are giving awards quarreled for having some of the worst work the functional has ever seen done. Other employees ask if there is a race and gender bias, a preference of some kind going on? Your FEW but GOOD colleagues and business partners are all that gets you through the week. What do you say.....call HR. Has not worked for me but maybe all companies are being run by amateurs. Management and bias towards most men is rampant, especially towards East Indian men. Succession is a joke in the short future.

Pros

I'm a senior-level software engineer, previously worked at tech companies, and this job is relatively easy for me. No on-call, work-life balance is good. I usually get everything done within 2-week sprints.

Cons

GMF is the true definition of work hard, not smart. There are so many dumb engineers. There was a time I had to work with non-technical teams like prod support, and it was quite frustrating. They wanted my team to build an automation so they didn't have to work manually as if anything is possible and there is no limitation within the company. I didn't even create a backlog item as it was a waste of time.
