Pros

Financially stable and progressive work environment Compensation and benefits are very competitive for the marketplace Very strong / high caliber technical professional and knowledgeable staff with exceptional work ethics for the most part Current state technological toolset and management commitment to continue to invest Open, solution oriented organizational environment in some areas Some management that truly cares about and works to mentor the individual Team orientation is very strong, but at times very competitive in nature Advancement opportunities are good and based on performance merit

Cons

Fast paced growth by acquisition has brought on organizational integration issues that fosters what's identified below : Pressure to keep up requires a high-level of multi-tasking, adding to individual pressure and possible frustration No apparent corporate wide information strategy that has led to disconnected siloes that operate autonomously with varying levels of governance and their own technical platforms EMails proliferate the environment and are frequently more CYA intrusive than informative Although improving,, new employee orientation is lacking where they must be very self-sufficient, learn by doing and forced to interrupt others who are very busy with questions Procedures / processes are loosely documented, change and have exception conditions Organizational competitiveness exists to the point of being negative overall impact Arena calls for being very politically astute that can be counter-productive by the fear-of-recrimination factor

Pros

- Family dynamic in the best way possible from peer to peer - Your voice will always be heard ( can’t say always taking into regard )

Cons

- Mid Level Management sometimes has the tendency to make the “little people” not feel included depending on area - Somethings will have you have you saying “how do/ did we survive doing ___ this way” - it’s like getting a complex surgery done with multiple people operating. Depending on who you have and their competency you’ll want to stay 50 years or wish you never applied.
