Pros

As a HBO Campus Agent, there are SO many pro's to this college internship. The internship itself is so fun that it is barely considered work. You have the ability to network through the use of the HBO brand to really flourish. Part of the job is to plan events, advertise and promote HBO programming. As a digital chair, you really get the hands on experience to extend your social media marketing skills!

Cons

The only real cons of the HBO campus ambassador internship is that you are limited to the hours of work each week (6-8 hours only). But in this case, experience > money for sure.

Pros

It was a good seasonal opportunity working on the Amazon Program. Pay was decent until I got a promotion that only came with a $50 increase in weekly salary but a major increase in responsibility + poor leadership + HR telling me "you'll make money by saving your per diem".

Cons

Poor leadership. All Field Managers operate differently even though it's the same client (Amazon). The Account Supervisor also admitted that he "wasn't in the weeds" enough to understand my issue of 1) being understaffed on my team and 2) unrealistic expectations that I was supposed to be on-site 8pm-7am working AND by available during regular 9am-5pm business hours to answer questions, When I brought all these concerns to the Field Manager and Account Supervisor but were non-chalant and were unhelpful prompting me to resign within the 1st week. HR doesn't seem to care either because they don't do any type of exit interviews.
