Great people, great mission. The success of the trainees is infectious. GRID is doing truly transformative work that should be modeled by the rest of the country. It's inspiring.

Cons

Difficult to develop career in terms of skills, trajectory, or salary. Almost an expectation for young people to move on after 1-3 years.

people in my region were nice to work with

they talk a lot about good work culture and openness from the higher ups but then turned around and laid off 20% of their staff on a random friday with absolutely no notice. they restructured the entire company which supposedly they've been planning since february of this year. they laid off valuable employees who worked at this company for 15+ years!!!!! with zero remorse and sympathy.
