Worthing specifically is one to avoid. The site has been on the decline for many years and is badly underfunded and under resourced now. The term flogging a dead horse comes to mind.
As a result there seems to be a panic driven management style with priorities constantly changing on a whim. Management are very slow to make decisions and often flip flop on them after they do (a big one recently was making a large group of people redundant, only to beg them to stay a month later). They also preach a culture of transparency but this was FAR from the case, often with decisions made secretly and then a "show" put on to pretend it wasn't already decided.
The site is badly hamstrung by the overly bureaucratic processes installed by the above site management teams. They enforce crazy standards that although fine at a blueship site, simply doesn't work at a site of this size and funding. It's likely because it will give them an excuse to close it eventually on the basis of "under performance".
