Pros
Variety of networking equipment, apps, and services including in-house proprietary software in conjunction with continuous mass-on boarding due to growth provides job security, at least in theory.
Good bonuses, consistent schedule. No afterhours
Cons
Very poor communication due to complex management structure/departments in different states/countries etc.
IT on-site is basically a middle-man coordinating with 3rd party MSP or IT department located outside of US.
Overall everyone is pretty friendly, but major bottlenecks cause delays for even minor equipment needed for business operations/user needs etc. This becomes very stressful over the course of a few months.
Very exceptional hard-working people who consistently go above and beyond (come early stay late just to help) receive no recognition and never acknowledged. Communication is so bad due to the complexity of the environment, most don't have a clue when there are accomplishments, only when issues arise.
