Pros
- colleagues at exec/operational level are lovely people who work miracles to hit the numbers and give way to much of themselves to this organisation which simply keeps asking for more on top of more. - above average pay (they pay in line with pharma industry across the business), BUT for what you have to put up with/ sacrifice, the pay is about right as a trade off. - if you are in a sales/finance/National Accounts role, this might be ok for you - bonus scheme mechanism is WAY better for sales team roles than the scheme other functions get put on.
Cons
- 'who shouts loudest' culture for promotion opportunities. - middle managers forced to become micro managers by culture pushed down from the top. - JFDI culture down from top. - inwardly focused, staff constantly preparing over-detailed decks on plans for one leader to review , taking people several days to prepare for EVERY month. - trying to do too much with too little - little investment and constantly being questioned on why competitors [who are investing >10x] are significantly performing better - several years of IPO prep "dressing the bride for the big day" short-termist value/performance perception strategy. - horror stories of country and global leadership behavior in meetings: shouting, aggressive, rude, dictatorial, blame and shame etc. - Pays lip service to DE&I, but take a look at the exec board... - current office not fit for purpose. soulless, sterile, too small, poor functioning AC, terrible food in on site canteen.
