Company wastes a lot of money - Anonymous employee Galileo Learning Employee Review

Rehiring is a waste of time and money. Instead of just having staff members return, I have already had to have a phone interview once and and am scheduled to have another one coming up. What is the point of this? I answered these EXACT SAME questions last year. They've seen my work performance. If they are satisfied I should be welcomed back, and if not, I shouldn't be invited back. It's that simple. I have to wonder how much time, and thus money, is wasted interviewing people who have already worked for the company for a second time.
